" ... The earnest (heart-felt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available - dynamic in its working." James 5:16 AMP
It is quite apparent that if you are reading this; you have been blessed to see another day. It should also be a part of your daily ritual to begin your day with a prayer so that it will soothe you and set your day at ease.
Prayer is simply a form of communication between you and the spiritual being or higher power you believe in. When you pray with an earnest and sincere heart, it helps you achieve an inner peace that will set the tone for you to handle things better and differently than you would have before you prayed.
Here are some excerpts from Volume One of the book, "PRAYERS that avail much" by Germaine Copeland:
"Talk the answer, not the problem. The answer is in God's Word. You must have knowledge of the Word - revelation knowledge."
"Believe you receive when you pray. Confess the Word. Hold fast to your confession of faith in God's Word. Allow your spirit to pray by the Holy Spirit. Praise God for the victory now before any manifestation."
Prayer not only does something positive for the person offering up the prayer, it also triggers a response from the one they are praying to. There is a saying in Christianity which is, "when the praises go up; the blessings come down." It is what we call a win-win situation.
Since we are given so many chances each day, we should not take the power of prayer for granted. Every day your eyes open is another reason to start your day with a prayer.
